Victoria Station in London is one of the busiest stations in the country; second after Waterloo. If you have flown into the country at Gatwick Airport, you can get a direct train to Victoria Station. The station was built a long time ago, opened in 1868, which means that it wasn’t designed to deal with the capacity as it is today.
